Maxtec blender service follows the same model-by-model competence approach OHM applies to every blender it accepts.
Maxtec blenders are precision pneumatic proportioning devices. As with any air/oxygen blender, seal wear, inlet-filter loading and control-valve degradation cause delivered FiO2 to drift away from the dial setting without any visible fault. OHM's Maxtec service verifies delivered FiO2 against a calibrated reference-grade oxygen analyser across the dial range and confirms flow capacity, alarm function and pressure integrity before the unit is returned to service.
OHM is an independent service provider for Maxtec blenders. Service is delivered from OHM's Tullamarine (VIC) and Ingleburn (NSW) workshops, with on-site performance verification available by arrangement.

Service intervals depend on the manufacturer's recommendations for the specific model, the clinical environment and usage frequency. Most manufacturers specify annual preventive maintenance as a minimum. OHM follows the manufacturer-prescribed interval for each supported model and will advise on appropriate scheduling during the initial service discussion. High-use or critical-application blenders may warrant more frequent performance verification.
FiO2 calibration involves setting the blender's control mechanism so that the delivered oxygen concentration matches the dial setting within the manufacturer's specified tolerance — typically ±3% FiO2. OHM's calibration uses a calibrated reference-grade oxygen analyser to measure actual delivered FiO2 at multiple dial positions (minimum, mid-range and maximum). The blender is adjusted until measurements fall within tolerance, and calibration data is recorded in the service report.

For Sechrist blenders, OHM uses manufacturer service documentation, Sechrist-genuine replacement parts and has access to manufacturer technical support.
