Lifemotion is a dedicated extracorporeal life support (ECMO) platform built around a single continuous circuit—from retrieval and transport through to the ICU—without breaking or re-priming. OHM Healthcare is the exclusive ANZ distributor, pairing global ECMO engineering with local clinical and biomedical support across Australia and New Zealand.

ECMO is a form of extracorporeal life support used in critical care to provide temporary cardiac and/or respiratory support for patients whose heart and lungs need time to recover. Blood is circulated through an external circuit—a centrifugal pump, a membrane oxygenator and a control console—so gas exchange and circulatory support can be maintained outside the body while the treating team manages the underlying condition.
The Lifemotion platform is designed around a single continuous circuit that reconfigures from a complete ICU set-up down to a portable transport core—so a patient can be moved without disrupting the circuit. Real-time monitoring is built in, and layered pump-drive redundancy is a deliberate design focus for extended support. OHM Healthcare distributes and supports the platform across ANZ, with local clinical engineering behind it.
Every core component is designed to work together as one system—purpose-built for reliability across long-duration support and inter-hospital transfer.




Disposable sets with integrated sensing—standard (2.2 m) and extended (2.65 m) tubing, plus an advanced-monitoring set (LM-TPS-1500L) adding Hct, Hb and O₂ saturation. Indicated use up to 14 days.
Continuous visibility of circuit pressures—including differential pressure across the oxygenator—flow, bubble and temperature, alongside non-invasive saturation, haematocrit and haemoglobin.
Clinical use, patient selection and treatment decisions remain the responsibility of the treating health service and its clinicians.
In the ICU, a trolley-based configuration organises the console, pump, oxygenator and circuits as one system, with integrated fixtures for a spare pump-drive motor, sensor cabling, IV poles and heater-cooler mounting. When a patient needs to move, the same continuous circuit reconfigures down to a portable transport core—so transfers happen without breaking or re-priming the circuit.
Blood-contacting surfaces carry a consistent phosphorylcholine coating, and layered pump-drive redundancy is built in as a design focus intended to reduce single points of failure during extended support. Behind all of it, OHM Healthcare provides local clinical engineering—installation, commissioning, training and responsive service.
Inclusion on the ARTG means each product has been entered on the Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA) register for supply in Australia. The Lifemotion platform holds current ARTG entries, each covering a core circuit component.
Regulatory responsibility and final approvals remain subject to the applicable manufacturer, sponsor and regulator requirements.
